Tea Recipe from The Assassin's Legacy

If you're following my blog tour (here's today's stop), you know that I'm giving away a Russian tea kit to promote The Assassin's Legacy.

But, if you don't win, I still want to share a tea recipe from the book with you, so you can make it at home.

So put on your fuzzy socks, grab that lap blanket, and curl up with your copy of The Assassin's Legacy while sipping this wonderful Ginger and Cinnamon Tea.

Ingredients:

1 tsp freeze-dried ginger OR a bag of ginger tea OR a thin slice of fresh ginger

1 cinnamon stick

1 tbsp pure maple syrup

Directions:

1. Heat water to 208°F (or simmering if doing it by sight)

2. If using freeze-dried ginger, put it in a tea ball. Otherwise put your tea bag or slice of ginger in a mug with your cinnamon stick.

3. Pour hot water into mug, and steep for at least 10 minutes. *I like to keep my cinnamon stick in the mug until I'm done drinking.

4. Stir in maple syrup while still hot.

5. Enjoy!

    D. Lieber has a wanderlust that would make a butterfly envious. When she isn’t planning her next physical adventure, she’s recklessly jumping from one fictional world to another. Her love of reading led her to earn a Bachelor’s in English from Wright State University.

Beyond her skeptic and slightly pessimistic mind, Lieber wants to believe. She has been many places—from Canada to England, France to Italy, Germany to Russia—believing that a better world comes from putting a face on “other.” She is a romantic idealist at heart, always fighting to keep her feet on the ground and her head in the clouds.

Lieber lives in Wisconsin with her husband (John) and cats (Yin and Nox).
